Founded in March 2023, the Groveport Pickleball Club began with a simple goal: organize play and help fund equipment at Degenhart Park. What started as a small initiative has quickly grown into a thriving community dedicated to expanding pickleball throughout Central Ohio.
Our Mission
We are committed to growing the sport of pickleball by creating inclusive opportunities for players of all levels. Through instruction, leagues, tournaments, and open play sessions, we aim to build skill, friendly competition, and meaningful connections.
Community Support
With the generous support of the Groveport Recreation Center and the City of Groveport, we’re proud to provide exceptional play experiences at an affordable cost while continuing to expand access to the sport across our region.
Our Home Courts
Our eight lighted outdoor courts, located in front of the Groveport Recreation Center, were constructed in 2024 and are among the finest in the region. They provide a high-quality playing environment for beginners and experienced players alike.
Leadership
Groveport Pickleball Club is led by dedicated volunteers committed to growing the game and strengthening our community.
Scott founded the Groveport Pickleball Club in 2023 with a vision to organize play and grow the sport locally. He is passionate about expanding pickleball opportunities and building a strong, welcoming community.
Laura supports the club through technical improvements and troubleshooting, while also helping organize leagues and events as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Katy launched the Ladies League in 2024 after inspiring the idea and helping bring it to life. The league has quickly become a tremendous success, creating strong connections and competitive opportunities for women in our community.
